What's the one mistake you make over and over on the computer?
Passwords. I don't have keys between all my computers, and so I still type my password in and I have so many committed to memory that I sometimes cycle through them, or usually just type the wrong one (and keep typing it even though my fingers know they're wrong).
But then, when I do, Unix does this thing where it pauses for a few seconds, as if to punish you for wasting its time. When it does that, I close my eyes and wait a second so that when I open them the command prompt is there waiting for me.
Like coming back from the restroom and finding out the waiter has brought the bloomin' onion.
I do this too. I used to have a low security password I used everywhere, but now I just never remember low security passwords, I have them emailed to me when I need them, and then I change them immediately.
